to Pick a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital |

first step in finding and evaluating a long-term acute care hospital
is to simply take a tour of the hospital. Observe the attitude
of the staff, type of equipment and the cleanliness of the facility.
Ask questions about the backgrounds of the clinical staff. Who
exactly will be taking care of you or your family member? Does
the hospital have physical therapists, nurses, speech
therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, clinical
dieticians, pharmacists and physicians with specialized training?
During your tour it is also very important to make note of the
